What is Project Payday?

Project Payday has details on how to use Incentivized Freebie Websites to make money. Steps to become a great trader

April 30th, 2008

Many people believe they can become a great trader overnight. They also believe that it will not take that much work. This is simply not true. There are many steps you must take in order to become a great stock market trader. Here is a step by step way to become a great trader.

1. You must first learn how the stock market works. Whatever you are using to trade the stock market, fundamentals, technical analysis or something else, you should first learn about it. Learn how you can decide if a stock is a good buy. To do this you should read websites and books that are written by people who are already making money in the stock market. See what they think is important and try using their systems yourself. (more…)

Network Marketing Lies: Are You A Liar?

April 29th, 2008

Numerous entrepreneurs are invariably grappling to make money in network marketing and they do not always succeed after the dust settles. Some make barely any money or expend more than they end up making. Such people have a demanding enough time making ends meet and do not need the lies that often circulate in this business.

Due to some eye raising statistics the majority of people would prefer to discontinue the countless network marketing lies. Nearly all people or 90% who start such a business will give up after only three short months. Even if they last longer than that 95% will quit before they have been in the business for a year. Eighty percent of people who join your business will never turn into a business builder and sponsor somebody into the business. (more…)

What Returns Should You Expect From Property?

April 28th, 2008

Myself and Joni Kikil, our portfolio manager have sat down with around 100 investors over the last 6 weeks, and a common theme throughout has been investors not being sure what returns on their investment they are achieving, and therefore their ideas on what properties are performing best are often not accurate.

By looking at many varied portfolios it is amazing to see all the different strategies and performances of different portfolios.

What return would I be looking for across the board? I would be looking for a minimum of 30% returns per annum on investment ie my equity to increase by a minimum of 30% per annum. (more…)

Discount Code Shopping the Way Forward

April 28th, 2008

As online shopping becomes ever more popular, the ways of saving money evolve with it.

In the early years on the internet, just having an online only shop was enough to guarantee low prices due to lower costs. However, as more large corporations caught onto the online world, economies of scale allowed these big guys to undercut the smaller online only shops. If you look at HMV, there won’t be much price difference compared to 101CD despite HMW having much higher costs due to nationwide stores and better marketing. (more…)

Benchmarking the performance of mutual funds

April 28th, 2008

When you invest in mutual funds, you are reminded time and again that “mutual fund returns are subject to market risks”. Naturally, you may feel that if your scheme is subject to market risks, it should be delivering market linked returns, since risk and return are two sides of the same coin. But how can you gauge whether a scheme is in fact delivering returns that are in line with the market or not? Here’s where benchmarking comes in.

What is benchmarking? The performance of a mutual fund scheme can be gauged in comparison to a benchmark index or indices. For such purposes, a benchmark index is one which contains broadly similar instruments to those that a scheme sets out to invest in. (more…)

The Lost Art of Forum Etiquette

April 26th, 2008

Marketing using forums is a slowly rising traffic technique used today. The benefits are great and simple to get. They are, at least, if you know what’s expected of you at any given forum. While they’re all different in their own way all forums will follow the same basic rules. Somewhere between the 1990s and now this knowledge seemed to have been lost. This is even more apparent for online marketers, some who have never used a message board before. What also has been lost is forum etiquette. It seems online marketers are the biggest group of people that don’t seem to know about or understand this, as most of it is unwritten, until now. (more…)

Why You Should Think About Forex Trading if you are already Day Trading

April 24th, 2008

When you think of trading on the forex market, you probably think that it is a more advanced version of the stock market and therefore requires more working knowledge than the stock market or commodities markets. However, there is literally no difference between the two, aside from the obvious….learning to trade forex deals with trading major currency pairs rather than trading corporate stocks. It is just a case of a different medium but you use the same methods. This is the reason why if you are a day trader in commodities or stocks, you could easily change focus to currencies without much of a problem. And just like the stock market, your main focus should be to invest the least amount of money (with the least amount of work) to get the most bang for your buck.Trading on the Foreign Exchange Market does not differ much from trading on other markets such as the Stock Market.
